Why are people bored of philosophy?
Why do most people prefer a soccer match than a good philosophical conversation?
I believe that this happens for a simple - yet surprising - reason: because people are AFRAID of philosophy!
Yes, I believe that people are truly and genouinly scared of the implications philosophy answers may have in their life. People are afraid to discover things or to explore questions, the answers to which may not be of their liking.
Not too many people like discomfort.
And philosophy is surely a good way of puting you out of your comfort zone...
